  We really enjoyed our stay at 5 Vintage Guest House! The house is lovely decorated with a lot of vintage charme and attention to detail and the staff were very friendly. We had a double room with own bathroom and it was equipped with everything you need, even slippers! The bed and room was comfy and we also enjoyed sitting in the lovely lounge, and on the balcony. It really feels like a home away from home, especially as for most of our stay we seemed the only guests on our floor. The kitchen is very handy to make tea, coffee or even a small breakfast. We also loved the abundance of sweets and tea provided. The location is great as well, so many restaurants around in the side streets, and you're very quick everywhere by foot. At reception there are many leaflets and flyers of local attractions and activities, which inspired us to take part in the Sofia Free Walking Tour, which was great! Despite the house being so central, it is very quiet and we had a good night's sleep during our stay. We are looking forward to coming back to Sofia and will definitely stay at 5 Vintage again!

  Tolle Unterkunft. Sehr zentral, liebevoll eingerichtet, nachts absolut ruhig. Hat Spaß gemacht, vielen Dank!

  Personally, didn't stay in the guesthouse. My guests did. The story begins as I have to plan and organize the transportation for two archaeological students from Stobi, Macedonia to Sozopol, Bulgaria. They're both American girls that would like to have a taste of Sofia's culture and atmosphere. While on the ride from Macedonia to Sofia we have decided to have them to stay for 2 nights and my employer booked "a room in a hostel" for them (his words). I immediately grew weary of this as I know the quality of Sofian hostels. When we got to the place I was extremely surprised and so were my guests because I lowered their expectations beforehand. The lady on reception was extremely nice, a bit twitchy but quite an honest and direct individual. I did enjoy chatting with her later, turned out she was the owner of 5 Vintage, woah. It was a bit embarrassing as all of us reacted on how amazing the place is and I couldn't tell her that I didn't have the time to research the place. The girls told me later that they've never been to a better accommodation in their life. I'm gonna skip describing the interior, exterior, services, the vintage aesthetics or the free candy on almost every table - it's just a very good place that is handled with love and care. It's amazing when you can feel so strongly somebody's life work. Or at least that's what we felt.

  Molto bello. Arredato con gusto. Un po’ bohemian. Camere piccole ma comode. Bagno da condividere ma puliti. Possibilità di usare un piccolo angolo cottura e una saletta comune. Lo consiglio.

  I stayed recently in a shared room and would happily stay there again. Perfect location just of Vitosha Blvd you can walk everywhere, perfectly clean, well-pointed in terms of facilities, nice environment, extremely helpful staff too.
