  Please please, do not have treatment here. I was admitted for a kidney injury in March and I can honestly say the nursing staff are THE most unprofessional people in any trade that I’ve ever encountered. The department (Nephrology) is led by an unprofessional matron and this behaviour is copied by the rest of the nursing staff, especially the night staff who resent having to do any work whatsoever and make you feel like the worst person on earth for asking for help. The staff are passive-aggressive and will happily laugh at you between themselves and other patients (!!!) if you don’t speak Bulgarian. If you want to be treated like excrement, go to this hospital. I just want to go home, I wish I’d never come here and I’m so shocked at the lack of empathy and cultural racism displayed by the staff. Avoid, avoid, AVOID.

  Педиатрия!!Бебе на 4месеца пълна несъвместимост ,липса на постоянна топла вода,липса на елементарни хигиенни норми.Персонала е дружелюбен,част от него и адекватен...тази болница ,която обучава и бълва кадри от млади доктори..на това ли ви учи.Да приемате мизерията за нещо нормално,липса на възможности за ограничаване на заразно ,болни деца.....липса на организация на пребиваването ,малки бебета в общи стаи с размери не повече от 10кв.м.Това не бива да бъде наричана ,,Университетска болница,,

  A friend was admitted by police to psychriatric and 2 weeks later is still there in the highly secured area and from what i can gather was not advised of rights to the court to ensure police were acting dutiful despite being beaten by them prior to admission. He was also administered drugs *sedatives* despite strongly objecting. As of yet no formal diagnosis has been given to him but he has been given the opinion he may be schizophrenic without any physical exam which given he started to suffer from paranoia after a severe attack by an axe where he suffered a severe head injury and lost consciousness and was not given a brain scan at that time... need i go on! Given the heavy foreign investment into the pychriatric ward and Bulgarias EU membership I am appalled that there is already a catalogue of failures with one patient and would suggest an immediate audit to ensure risks and failures are identified and mitigated against.
