  A fun place to visit if you like modern / contemporary art. We went on the last Friday of the month so it was free. The downstairs houses the permanent exhibits. I found some of the displays fun and interesting even though I'm not a big fan of modern art. The upstairs area houses rotating exhibits. When we were there they were displaying a new presentation of a Bulgarian artist featuring multimedia. When you enter you are given a light to shine on objects which will illuminate paintings and quotes. I really didn't get much of the symbolism. I really liked the idea but wasn't sure the execution was the best. Check it out for yourself.

  Very inspiring gallery, lots to get your mind thinking and certainly worth the money at 4 lev for entry.

  Excellent and inspiring gallery. Something from every genre of art so bound to catch the eye of anyone visiting. Lovely staff and super cheap entry, £2 (equivalent) well spent!
