  Dr. Galina Sheinkova, Endocrinologist - I rarely come across such non-professionals, despite the fame of doctors in Bulgaria. I had mildly elevated TAT and MAT, my TLC was normal and directly diagnosed Hashimoto with a severe tone and said I should take hormone treatment immediately for life. Of course, to be sure of the diagnosis, she asked me to have an ultrasound scan, for which I paid extra, of course. It showed that the gland is in excellent condition, which by the way becomes clear without an ultrasound, since TLC is normal. But the number was to pay for the ultrasound. Well, I came across a responsible doctor afterwards, who explained to me that most of the living and breathing "fresh" air of Sofia had similar slight deviations in TAT and MAT. I take selenium and things are back to normal.
