::Previously, this place was the ugly remains of the monument to the sculptor Prof. Valentin Starchev "1300 years of Bulgaria", from which building materials periodically fell and threatened passers-by. Good thing they removed the ruins. It really was extremely urgent. Now the place looks much better. If you want to make a comparison, as it was before, just look at the photos and do not fall into a nostalgic mood, but look forward boldly!

::If only you guests of Sofia, knew what this place was before. An utterly, ugly statue constructed in communist times. Even the communists themselves didn't like it.
