  Spacious and modern metro station, ticket cost 1.6. Metro entrance located just near the Lions Bridge.

  A nice bridge with four large bronze sculptures of Lions. All four a different. You can see some small remnants of structures from Roman times. Lions are iconic in Bulgaria and there are fun to see (I like lions). As you walk from the bridge back into the city along the main avenue don't miss the ethnic neighborhood, restaurants and markets on the left side of the street.

  The famous Lions bridge. Looks much better after the renovation they did couple a years ago. Go check it out if have some time to spend.
