::-1 star because some of the animals could live in better conditions I think. Other than that, it is a great place to spend time with the children. Restrooms have a diaper change room. There is ice cream, burgers, popcorn, but not much choice of healthy food other than maybe a salad. The zone where tigers and lions are kept is renovated, it is great to see there are improvements.

::Общите впечатления са по-скоро отрицантелни. Базата, където живеят живодните е крайно недостатъчна, остаряла, бедна откъм природно разнообразие. Голи площи, оградени с бетон или желязо. Голямо разнообразие от животни, но им е доста тясно. Ако се престрашите и влезете в помещението на маймуните, ще ви залеят шокиращи арома терапевтични ухания. Не знам какви са оправданията на самите служители от Зоологическата градина. Повечето хищници са в много малки помещения. Сградата на слона и носорога също е в окайващо състояние. Има няколко хубави детски площадки на открито, на които децата много добре се забавлят. Необходимо е пълно реновиране и цялостна промяна. Повечето животни направо изглеждат отчаяни, мудни, апатични...

::Lo zoo di Sofia è imponente ma purtroppo con un livello di degrado decisamente alto, al limite dell'abbandono. La visita ci riporta un po' negli zoo anni '70, prima che ci si dedicasse a ricreare le ambientazioni dei luoghi d'origine degli animali, che sembrano un po' abbandonati a se stessi. Uno sguardo più attento, però, ci fa notare che nonostante le apparenze gli animali sono numerosi e ben curati. Molto interessante il fatto che anche in pieno inverno gli animali sono visibili dal lato interno delle gabbie. The Sofia's Zoo is a massive structure but with an high level of decay. The visit bring back you to '70, before the trend to reproduce original environments for animals that seems to be a bit abandoned. A more deep look, insteas, revise that animals are numerous and well treated. During the winter the park is open and animals can be viewed from the internal side of the cages.

::The Sofia zoo has an impressive amount of specimens. You can easily loose over 2 hours here looking at all the different exhibits. There are many places to sit down and rest, many restaurants to grab some food. The zoo has parking and also has good bus options. The best time is if you can catch when the animal are being fed. Otherwise they might be sleeping. Enclosures are pretty big.

::Przykro jest patrzeć na zwierzęta, których sierść i zachowanie mówią same za siebie, widać, że warunki tamtejsze im nie sprzyjają - one się tam po prostu męczą! Zoo wygląda na opuszczone, zaniedbane. Szkoda patrzeć na tak umęczone zwierzęta. Powinni to zamknąć lub pozyskać sponsorów, którzy by mogli pomóc tym biednym stworzeniom. Nie wrócę, nie polecam, nikomu! Nawet za taką małą opłatę.
