  Discreta esperienza soprattutto per i reperti dalla preistoria all' epoca romana. Poco valorizzato, assolutamente da vedere.

  L'attuale sede del museo era una grande moschea durante l'occupazione turca, e sorge proprio di fronte al palazzo presidenziale (dove fanno il cambio della guardia a mezzogiorno davvero carina). Espone interessanti reperti Traci e di epoca romana. Da vedere assolutamente è la sala dedicata all'oro dei Traci

  Can I give this museum ten stars? It’s one of the best things I’ve seen in Sofia. They have a large collection of high quality items starting from the Stone Age. It’s well organized and housed in an lovely building built in 1494 as an Ottoman Mosque. All of. The items in the permanent collection are documented in Bulgarian and in English. Th8s is a must see.
