  Museu ao ar livre com as estatuas relacionadas com o comunismo, Lenin, Che Guevara, e outros herois do comunismo que foram retiradas do seu lugar original (e não foram destruidas), tambem tem uma sala xom pinturas relacionadas com perseguição, tortura etc feita pelos alemães durante a ocupação e pelos comunistas. Gostei.

  Small and yet moving. Entrance isn't obvious but Bulgarians were friendly so ask. Cold war reveals its icy edge when walking the statues. What a pity such great people had to waste lives and time to such monsters. But they're strong and kind and moving on. God bless Bulgarians.

  A very intereresting museums. A visit to Sofia would not be complete without a visit to the Socialist Art Museum, if you ask me! The sculpture garden was very good. There was half an hour worth of propaganda films that was very interesting. The collection of paintings was quite small, but very nice and with interesting facts about specific art pieces and art in general.

  Good museum focusing (unsurprisingly) on the art coming out of Bulgaria during the Soviet era. Some good pieces on display. Outdoor area filled with busts and statues and the Soviet red star removed from the Sofia presidential palace after the fall of the USSR. Small room with a twenty-something minute video montage of propaganda detailing the communist revolution in Bulgaria. 3 Lev entry.
