::A cozy hidden gem in the heart of Sofia. I stumbled upon this place by chance when we were waiting for a movie screening with a couple of friends. It seems that the restaurant is not that well known and there aren't that many visitors as in the places around downtown Sofia which I found very refreshing. Nice atmosphere, good food and very reasonable prices for the central part of Sofia.

::Great authentic Bulgarian food and Bulgarian craft beer. Price was very good for attentive service and excellent quality of food and beverage. Will return for sure. Best part is, it is some distance from the touristy area so even the feel is authentic.

::My wife and I stopped into Magdanoz for dinner tonight. This is a really cool neighborhood spot near the Russian Monument. Our waitress was EXTREMELY nice and very helpful despite our very limited Bulgarian. We started with a couple salads which were very fresh and quite tasty. For the main course my wife got the schnitzel and I got the meatballs. Both were perfectly cooked and delicious. Ask for extra tomato & pepper sauce. It's delicious. I've seen a couple of reviews saying the food was slow or poorly prepared. Not our experience AT ALL. No, it's not a fancy place but what they do offer is cooked well and very flavorful. The service couldn't have been better. She made us feel as though we were part of the neighborhood even though we're just visiting for a few weeks. Finally, they play rock and roll music instead of the club mix you hear EVERYWHERE in Bulgaria. Nice change up. Very much appreciated.

::I went there to take a dinner, it was extremly cheap, but the food it wasn't good... Maybe it's a good place to take a beer with friends and good music (Rock) but not for eat.
