Basarbovo itself is a nothing much to see, but the rock monastery (and I mean it is cut in the rocks, that surrounds the village, not that the priests play guitars there) is a must see if you are around. You can buy some souvenirs around, but better prepare some food or jump by the city of Ruse for lunch. The monastery is operational, so there is a church, candles are sold as well. But to see it all, better prepare for some steep climbing.
