The first dish I got was the escargot, which was very disappointing. The shells were almost all pre-broken. Which meant that after two or three, I couldn't go on. Wasted dish. And not cheap. So that sucked. The second appetizer was one of the best I've ever had. Goose liver with peaches. Tender like amazing and a flavor that blew me away. The main was equally amazing - a fish baked in salt. The dish was huge and fresh and so tasty. Texture and flavor mingled to create a great culinary experience. The wine was good, but not the best, but we got it by the glass, which normally means a second tier bottle. The dessert - a cheesecake - was the weakest part of the meal (aside from the aborted snails). I would recommend this place, but with some caveats. The other issue is its sheer distance from Sofia. It took almost half an hour to get there in a taxi. Worth the trip for the liver and the fish though, for sure.

Ausgezeichnete Küche. Nicht billig aber Qualität hat seinen Preis und deshalb finde ich es angemessen.

A wonderful meal with friends at this gem of a restaurant. Starting with pan-fried goose liver slices, served with braised peaches in a honey and Marsala glaze, then slow roasted lamb in herbs and garlic with a savoury rice with diced liver and roast potatoes. Chocolate cake with cream and homemade ginger ice cream topped it off. Wow. Next time it’s turbot for me. Or maybe the seafood pasta...expensive for Bulgaria, not for Londoners. £30ph absolute tops.

The best restaurant ever. Very delicious. A little expensive.
